An abstract and mixed media piece constructed on canvas. Includes elements of acrylic, oil, and watercolor paints. As well as marker. Hues 2 (untitled) is a hidden gem that was created off of the whim of thought. There was no inspiration behind the piece or goal in mind; artist Tierney Miller shares how this piece was rather 'experimental' in how different medias work with other medias, and how the artist brain crates when not given an outline or boundary. Hues 2 represents the abstract thinking of the artist Ms. Miller herself, like coral in the water, she stands strong but takes in the depth of the ocean and every passing experience; appearing as a stand alone but contributing to the vast environment around her. This painting is a reminder that art in itself can be everything, yet nothing. Or nothing, yet everything.
