A study piece done on abstract work and color relationships. Inspired by contemporary abstract floral artist Farida Zaman, Jennifer Paganelli, and Teddi Parker. Piece 1 (untitled) of the Hues collection was created in respects to the artist's grandmother, Shirley Bullion. Ms. Bullion holds near and dear to artist Tierney Miller's heart and is one of the biggest supporters towards her art careers. Ms. Miller shares childhood memories of being at her Mamaw's house, spending her days coloring while her Mamaw crochets. More than twenty years later and with 700. miles of distance between them, their text messages resemble the same; the passing back and forth of painting and crochet pictures.
